The Provost, Dr A. A Ajayi has declared the College’s willingness and readiness to collaborate with any governmental body in the country that seeks the promotion of Nigeria’s Democracy.
He made this declaration while receiving some Voters Education materials presented to the College by the Ogun State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Administrative Secretary who was represented by the Head of Department of the Electoral Commission, Mr Samuel Ogunjemilua.
Mr Samuel Ogunjemilua made it known that the essence of the visit was to strengthen Nigeria’s Democracy by partnering with Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria and to enable the Body acquaint students in Tertiary Institutions on electoral processes through the papers and documents that would be made available in their schools. He revealed that the body aimed at helping students better themselves with electoral processes in the country.
The Provost, Dr Ayodele A Ajayi while appreciating the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Yakubu Momodu, noted that youths in Tertiary Institutions were the most mobile and active part of democracy and as such they need to be well educated on Electoral processes in the Country.
