The College Management recently made available all these measures to ensure strict adherence in order to curb the spread of COVID 19.
The Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajuba recently gave six conditions for schools’ reopening to include – installation of hand washing facilities; equipment for body temperature; provision of body disinfectants at all entering points to their major facilities, including the gates, hostels, classes, offices etc.; decontamination of the whole premises of each Institution; maintenance of the highest level of hygiene and ensuring social/physical distancing in classes and meeting places.
It is worthy of note that our College has met these conditions while awaiting further directives from the Federal Government.
It would be recalled that Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria have closed since Thursday, 19th March, 2020 due to the scourge of the Corona Virus pandemic.
