The Provost, Dr R.A Soyele has advised the Degree Students affiliated to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan to be of good behaviour and shun all forms of social vices as the College had zero tolerance for misdemeanours.
Speaking through the Deputy Provost at the Orientation Programme organised by the Centre for Degree Programmes (CEDEP) on Thursday 21st October, 2021, Dr Soyele stated that the orientation was meant to enlighten students on the right part to follow throughout their stay in the College. He reiterated that the College was noted for excellence and had produced first class graduates. He therefore urged them to determine their fate from the outset.
While welcoming Students to the Programme, the Director of CEDEP, Dr M.F Aderanti remarked that the Orientation was the 9th in series adding that the 2020/2021 admitted Students would be Matriculating on Thursday, 18th November 2021. According to her, the Centre had a total number of two hundred and twenty one (221) registered Students out of the three hundred and thirty (330} approved for the College by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Series of lectures intimating the Students on what was expected of them while in the system - safety, health and how to comport themselves as good ambassadors of the University of Ibadan, FCE Abeokuta Campus, were delivered at the Orientation Programme.
